A List of The Essential Tools Every Gardener Must Have

 
If you do a fair amount of gardening or landscaping it is a good idea to invest in quality tools, because in the long run they are going to pay for them selves with the amount of time they will save.

For working in the garden or doing landscaping around the house there are a few must have tools that will make your life much easier. They are:

1. Digging tools - this includes spades, shovels, and garden forks.

2. A good pruning shears - a strong shears with replaceable blades.

3. Leaf rake - metal, bamboo, or plastic which ever you prefer.

4. Pruning saw - for clearing heavy brush and trimming trees.

5. Weeder - some people prefer a hoe, some like a three or four prong cultivator.

6. Trowel - these come in many different shapes and sizes depending on the type of job.

These are just some of the main tools that every do it yourselfer should keep around the home for garden and landscape projects. It’s important to note that all your gardening tools need to be properly cared for to insure you will receive years of service from them. This includes keeping all blades sharp and proper storage for your tools to prevent rusting and warping.
